Eligibility:
AFFCF can consider funding outstanding program fees for a high school senior that would prevent timely graduation. The maximum time AFFCF can consider funding school program fees is for an academic year, a new application must be submitted for each academic year (if student is still in senior year of high school).
Documentation:
Documentation required beforehand that shows costs. Supporting documentation needs to show the name of the school, the name of the youth, the school year (or date), the fee amount, and what the fee is for.
Payment:
Once a request is approved, a check payable to school can be mailed or an e-mail will be sent so then the purchase can be made and receipt(s) submitted for payment. Frequency: As needed (within senior academic year).
Other Resources:
DCS – DCS provides an educational allowance up to $82.50/year for books, supplies, course fees, etc. Request the allowance from the youth’s DCS Case Manager.
