Lucy is serious about playing violin. She hones her craft by practicing every day and wants to increase her skill and knowledge in music.

The Next Level

With funding from Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation, she’s taking her skill to the next level. Lucy gets to participate in a local orchestral training program for young string players. This opportunity allows her to develop more advanced skills as she pursues her passion for music.

Lucy writes to us, “Thank you for paying so I can participate in Tucson Junior Strings. Being able to play my violin with this music group is special for me.”

Being in foster care shouldn’t prevent a young person from growing and excelling in a skill. That’s why AFFCF is here…to pay for activities such as advanced music training and provide a sense of normalcy in what is undoubtedly an abnormal time in their lives.

A Sense of Normalcy

AFFCF relies on the generous support of donors to fund the dreams and hopes of children in foster care in Arizona. We need your help to give children and youth in foster care a sense of normalcy. Every donation helps change the story for children and youth in foster care.

“Thank you for paying so I can participate in Tucson Junior Strings. Being able to play my violin with this music group is special for me.”

– Lucy, 15
