Eligibility:
This funding category is restricted to youth in an unlicensed kinship placement OR three years old and younger dependents of youth in DCS care. If a young parent (that is still within DCS care) needs a pack ‘n play/playpen for their baby/toddler, the youth name for the request application is the parent (not the baby/toddler). Cribs are excluded from this category.
Documentation:
No documentation required beforehand.
Payment:
Once a request is approved, an e-mail will be sent so then the purchase can be made and receipt(s) submitted for payment. The maximum AFFCF can consider funding for a pack’n play/playpen is $100.
Other Resources:
- Child Crisis Arizona – Able to provide a free Pack N Play if the family takes a free Safe Sleep course for babies at their office.
- CASA Council Helping Children of Navajo County – Funds baby supplies for youth adjudicated in Mohave county only. Youth does not need to have a CASA.
- The Foster Alliance – Phoenix and Flagstaff Locations – Able to provide a crib for families with infants in foster care.
