Eligibility:
DCS funds up to $220 for high school graduation-related expenses, which includes cap, gown, ring, yearbook and other related expenses; that funding needs to be utilized first before submitting a request for the remaining high school graduation expenses.
Documentation:
Documentation is required beforehand. Documentation required showing what DCS funded and what still needs to be funded. DCS funds a maximum of $220 for graduation expenses (cap, gown, class ring, yearbook, etc.).
Payment:
Once a request is approved, a check payable to company can be mailed or an e-mail will be sent so then the purchase can be made and receipt(s) submitted for payment. Frequency: 1X per youth
Other Resources:
Navajo County Friends of CASA – Able to fund graduation items for foster youth adjudicated or placed in Navajo County (don’t need to have a CASA).
