Eligibility:
This funding category is restricted to youth in an unlicensed kinship placement and three years old and younger dependents of youth in DCS care. If a young parent (that is still within DCS care) needs a car seat, the youth name for the request application is the parent (not the baby/toddler).
Documentation:
No documentation required beforehand.
Payment:
Once a request is approved, an e-mail will be sent so the purchase can be made and receipt(s) submitted for payment. The maximum AFFCF can consider funding for a car seat is $125. Frequency: 1X per year

- Boost a Foster Family – Gives car seats to Unlicensed Kinship caregivers only.
- CASA Council Helping Children Mohave County, Inc. – Funds baby supplies for youth adjudicated in Mohave county only. Youth does not need to have a CASA.
