64TH ANNUAL VNSA USED BOOKSALE

The VNSA Used Booksale is one of the largest used book sales in the Southwest. Come browse through thousands upon thousands of titles, genres and so much more! Admission is free but the Fairgrounds do charge for parking. Even better – AFFCF is one of two beneficiaries of the proceeds from this annual event. So, stock up on great reads and you can change the story for children in foster care at the same time!

Date: February 8 & 9, 2020
Time: Sat: 8:00A – 6:00P; Sun: 8:00A – 4:00P
Location: Arizona State Fairgrounds, 1826 W. McDowell Rd., Phoenix, AZ

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

Thinking about getting involved, but just not quite sure about what opportunities exist to volunteer? Come to one of Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation’s quarterly volunteer orientation. You’ll get a little background on our history, what we do, how we help kids in foster care and how you can become a part of it.

2020 Dates: January 16 | April 16 | July 16 | October 15
Time: 5:30 – 6:30PM
Location: Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation

If you are interested in volunteering and would like to attend, please RSVP to Kim Searles at 602.252.9445 or ksearles@affcf.org.

SPEAKERS BUREAU TRAINING

As an organization, the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation gets invited to a lot of different places to speak about what we do: churches, DCS, foster care licensing agencies, civic organizations, etc. We want to accept as many invitations as possible, but with a small staff it’s hard to do. So we have volunteers from all over the state to help. We’ll train you and provide you with materials and support and then we’ll work within your schedule to arrange times for you to speak on AFFCF’s behalf.

2020 Dates: February 20 | May 21 (in Tucson, location TBD) | August 20
Time: 5:30 – 7:00PM
Location: Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation

If you’d to join our speakers bureau or just learn more about what it entails, please RSVP to Kim Searles at 602.252.9445 or ksearles@affcf.org.
