2022 SLIDER THROWDOWN
It’s back! The 2022 Slider Throwdown returns to High Street in Phoenix on November 13! This year, we’re bringing together eight local food trucks to compete for the title of Best Slider.
As our biggest event of the year, the Throwdown also includes a silent auction, live entertainment from Maggie Speaks and a fun Kidzone for our younger guests! Tickets are $40 and include a slider from each truck, a (non-alcoholic) drink coupon and a People’s Choice vote ballot!
SPONSORSHIPS AND SILENT AUCTION OPPORTUNITIES
Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation’s goal is to raise $25,000 through the Slider Throwdown. These funds will allow AFFCF to continue creating opportunities to build self-esteem and empower children and youth in foster care by funding services to enrich their life experiences and ensure their successful transition to adulthood.
Becoming a sponsor or donating to our silent auction is a win-win situation! Your business wins by being able to connect directly to multiple audiences (families and children, foodies, shopaholics and music lovers) all at once. Kids in foster care like Jasmine win by getting to take horse riding lessons and Ashton wins by getting to go to the aquarium. Young adults like Denise win by finding stable housing and access to support services. And Emily wins by having funds to attend college and follow her career dreams.
