Donation & Tax Credit
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, AFFCF receives no state funding. Every contribution is valuable and necessary for our continued success. We depend entirely on the generosity of individual, foundation and corporate donors. We are grateful for the kindness of our supporters and are committed to using each donation thoughtfully to support children in Arizona’s foster care system.
There are many ways to be a foster friend. Whether you wish make an Arizona tax credit donation, make AFFCF the recipient of community rewards programs (think Fry’s or AmazonSmile!), participate in our special event or hold your own fundraiser to benefit AFFCF, we appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation can only keep providing much-needed support for children in foster care with the help of people like you. Your gift could not only change a child’s life, but it may qualify as an Arizona Foster Care Tax Credit. It may otherwise qualify as a charitable donation deduction.
Your Donations at Work
Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation is dedicated to assisting each child with his or her individual needs. From grade level tutoring to life skills crucial for a successful transition from foster care, we are committed to children’s physical, educational and emotional well-being. Here are just a sample of the ways your dollars can help:
- Car seats and strollers
- Anxiety aids like weighted blankets and vests
- Supplemental clothing and books
- Musical instruments
- School pictures
- Driver’s education
- Graduation expenses
The children we serve have been through enough. We strive to give them the childhood they deserve with enriching activities that build their self-esteem and enrich their lives. Nurturing children builds kind and responsible adults.
Types of Donations
If you prefer to make a one-time donation, we appreciate your generosity and will put it to good use. For every thoughtful donation, we can offer a child a chance to learn to play an instrument, a fun outing to a theme park or new clothing for their first job interview.
Those who have a charitable giving budget may choose to schedule a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual deduction. The number of children we serve and the awards we make depend on a budget funded by generous recurring donors like you. Programs like Keys to Success that span six months or more, and teach young adults life skills that can set them up for success in independent living are supported by recurring donations. Your donation could be the difference between a struggling young adult and a thriving one.
