Financial Help Is Available
If you are in or have been in foster care in Arizona, you may be eligible to get money to help with education, housing and even re-entering care.
$$$ HELP IS AVAILABLE $$$
If you are a current or former foster youth between the ages of 14 to 20, you can request financial assistance for help with:
- Driver’s education
- And more!
If you’re eligible, you have a maximum award amount of $2,000. You can split the maximum award among multiple applications. For example, if you need help with rent that costs only $1,000 and you car needs repair that costs $500, you can submit one application for rent assistance and a second application for auto repair.
- 14 years or older up to age 20 and currently in foster care or extended foster care?
- You may be eligible for funding through 9/30/22.
- 16 years or older up to age 20 and no longer in foster care (but were in foster care at age 16)?
- You may be eligible for funding if you are 16 to 21 years through 9/30/22.
If you are not eligible for CAA funding, you will receive an email that explains why you are not eligible and what the next steps are for getting assistance.
