What you need to know about completing a general grant request on-line.
One application must be completed for every foster child.
The normal grant guidelines apply.
Only three items can be requested at a time.
The foster parent still needs to approve the request, so please make sure you have his/her e-mail address so that the application can be forwarded automatically
The Awards Committee reviews all applications, so please allow a week to ten days for application processing.
AFFCF does not provide reimbursement for goods or services already purchased unless they have been pre-approved. If pre-approval is needed call the AFFCF office prior to incurring the expense.
For auditing purposes, AFFCF requires that all receipts be sent back to the Foundation. Failure to do so will jeopardize future funding for the applicant.
Other than for theme park admissions, AFFCF does not make checks payable to foster parents, caseworkers, applicants, etc.
