DES Announces Major Cuts.
The Department of Economic Security has announced major cuts to Arizona's foster care program. These cuts will have a significant impact on the children in foster care and will place additional demands on the AFFCF to help these needy children. The result of these cuts will also likely result in more children and families NOT being served in their homes, and coming in to foster care. Click here for more info

The study mentioned the beneficial impacts of summer camps, tutoring and more financial assistance for foster care parents as being very beneficial. We at the AFFCF already knew this!
